The Certificate III in Process Manufacturing is intended for advanced production workers who use a range of equipment and provide support functions directly related to producing products. They would undertake more advanced roles, working in accordance with the operating procedures and would apply their knowledge to anticipate problems and solve a range of foreseen and unforeseen problems.

COURSE STRUCTURE

To successfully complete this qualification, you require twenty-one (21) units of competence. These 21 units are comprised of four (4) core units which are compulsory and seventeen (17) elective units.

Elective units selected provide a vocational focus for the qualification and are relevant to the qualification level, job role, work outcomes and local industry needs.

The course unit selection represents a reduced suite of elective unit options that have been selected and approved for delivery by Triumph Training Academy – this may not include the full elective unit suite of options available under the national qualification packaging rules.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no designated entry requirements for this course.

However admission requirements for Triumph Training Academy require students to:

  • Be at least 15 years of age;
  • Have completed Year 10 in the Australian school system or equivalent; and
  • Have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to ACSF Level 2.

Duration

This Program is via blended delivery with external study and supported tutorials. This course is typically delivered over ten (10) weeks including a face to face component, learning activities completed outside of the scheduled class periods (supported by student Learner Guides), and a final project to be completed and submitted by the end of the tenth week. This time period may be reduced or extended depending on student’s current knowledge and experience and progress throughout the course.
